We take digital dental impressions by using an intraoral scanner. In the past, dentists would use a gooey, messy substance you’d have to hold in your mouth. This would be especially difficult for those who had a high gag reflex.
With our intraoral scanner, we can generate 3D scans of your entire mouth, which can instantly be seen and shared on a computer screen.
The intraoral scanner looks like a small wand. The dentist will wave it around the inside of your mouth as it begins to generate a model of what it sees in a three-dimensional space. Once the dentist has finished tracing the placement of your teeth and gums, we can use it to plan surgeries and create dental restorations. The process is fast and easy!
